What is ISO? |
It was set by ISO(International Standard
Organization) in 1987(first revision in 1994, second revision
in 2000). It is about quality control and quality assurance
standard. It is a international standard that regulates
requirements for quality assurance system of company,
but not the product itself.
Since product delivery is made internationally nowaday,
reliability of product is demanded. And, it is a system
that guarantees the quality by setting up the international
standard that approves the quality internationally. |

What is ISO9001? |
| Quality System - It is a system quality
assurance model of design, development, installation and
other related services that has widest range. It is a
standard that applies when manufacturer does all the design,
development, manufacturing, installation, final inspection,
test and service. There are 20 items of requirements including
manager's responsibility and design management. |

SmartAir has received first prize in First
Korea PL Management Award, supervised by Corporation Korea
PL Association in 2003.
Among many large companies, and small and medium enterprises,
competed in PL(Product Liability) award, SmartAir was
the only company that received an award in manufacturing
area.
This winning of first PL management award proves once
again that quality of our product and customer satisfaction
management, since the award is given by PL professional
organization to the company that manufacture and deliver
perfect product with customer oriented management system. |

In a high-tech information society, electromagnetic
wave is socially causing a lot of troubles, and people's
interest on this matter is getting larger. Therefore,
solving the electromagnetic wave problem will be most
important thing in the future development of products.
In order to meet this demand, Korea Electrical Ware Safety
Promotion Co. is testing all the products with electric/electronic/information
telecommunication/medical ware/information telecommunication
technology and digital signal technology or electronic
control with international electromagnetic wave standard(CISPR
14-1/2, IEC 61000-3-2/3 application safety standard) to
improve the quality of products and to protect the customers.
And, only products that passed the test can get the certificate.
Our Curo is the quality product that passed the international
electromagnetic wave standard test for safe use. |

| SmartAir's Air sterilizing purifier, SmartAir
Curo, has acquired Korea quality design certificate『QD
mark』from Korea Efficiency Association Consulting. Korea
Quality Design Certificate of KMA Design management committee
is trying to improve the quality of design and notify
the importance of it for the stronger competitiveness
of company and creating national benefit. This certificate
is given not only to improve competitiveness of product,
but also to improve competitiveness of our country. Also,
it provides more objective and fair test result to provide
design level and way to improve the product. Quality Design
certificate tests in fair judgement by professional designer,
which guarantees the reliability of product. It can improve
the brand image with certified mark. We measure the function
and quality as well from shape of design to judge the
positive/negative sides of product. Air sterilizer/deodorizer,
SmartAir Curo has received excellent valuation in design
for good quality of this product. |

| Korea Industrial Design Award is given
to the design of Korean designer or a product that manufactured
by Korean company. It started out in 1997 by Korea Industrial
Design Association to find the value of unique design
and improves the competitiveness of product, the quality
of life and national industrial development. In order
to achieve this goal, this association composes judges
with related specialists every year and select quality
design product among new products to give out 'Korea Industrial
Design Award' certificate. This is to appreciate the professionalism
and creativity of designer and also to ask for responsibility.
Selected products are advertised by exhibition, making
booklet, and using mass media. It is to encourage the
creative activity to develop quality and unique design,
and to make new social impression on industrial design. |

| As a meaning of global brand, we need to
understand what global brand is and to seek the existence
of it in real life. We are living in the world of enterprises'
competitions and its effect without noticing, and using
the clothes and products of brand everyday. These are
used not only me and domestic customers, but also many
customers all around the world. When a brand of particular
region or country is used in other region or countries,
we call this brand a global brand. |

| Quality assurance certificate, Q mark certifies
the quality of product and manufacturer by giving out
standard test for characteristics of product, in order
to protect the customer's rights and to improve the quality
of product. Our Curo has acquired quality assurance certificate,
Q mark from internationally certified testing organization,
Korea Chemical Laboratory with Ozone sterilizer/deodorizer(air
sterilizing/deodorizing purifier) |

| SmartAir has received Korea's first safety
certificate, S mark in sterilization/deodorization area
from Korea Chemical Laboratory. SmartAir is the first
Korean company to start genuine study and systematic technology,
and is the leading the industry. We have acquired safety
certificate, S mark, which guarantees the safety of SmartAir
product, from Korea Chemical Laboratory that approved
that SmartAir provides products that customers can trust
with applying technology to control ozone perfectly and
world's first self-sterilization technology with space
intellect. |

Green management award is given by Korea
Efficiency Association to a company that develops and
uses technology to harmonize human and nature. And, SmartAir
has received Leader's prize in First Green Management
Award in 2002.
Ozone application technology developed by our company
is used widely in water environment for improving the
water quality and air environment for minimizing air pollution
as well. Besides, it is a technology that also sterilizes
and resolves the air polluting substances.
SmartAir used this technology to develop and apply world's
first self sterilization function. It is made to operate
quickly in existing ozone control mode with warning during
sterilization process, in order to secure the safety of
human body. With that, we have received Leader's prize
in Green Management Award and were able to acquire S mark,
which is safety certifying mark from Korea Chemical Laboratory
and Q mark, which is quality certifying mark. |

SmartAir is continuously supporting business
innovation activity. In order to activate and improve
proposition activity that all our employees participate,
we competed in "Idea Management Competition"
supervised by professional organization, and won the first
prize 2 years in a row in 2001/2002 for Small and Medium
enterprise area.
It is a first time small and medium company has received
first prize for 2 years in a row, and company has achieved
a goal of business innovation activity through this.
Proposition activity participated by all our employees
is a system that our employees propose good ideas to make
better product and to minimize the cost. It is a very
important system that improves the competitiveness of
company and quality of our product. |
